The VEA Thrift Store, located in North Visalia, meets a variety of community needs. When you shop with us, you help provide the resources to support our programs, including hunger relief, homelessness assistance, Seniors Helping Seniors, and more. All of this is done through our Family Assistance Center.

Acceptable Donations

We generally take all gently used clothing, household items, jewelry, home décor, collectibles, furniture, and seasonal items.

Donations We’re Unable to Accept

We’re sorry, but we cannot accept mattresses, large appliances, TVs, cribs, sofa beds, or chemicals.

Want to VOLUNTEER? Visalia Emergency Aid Thrift Store also serves as a valuable job training facility. Volunteers at our Thrift Store gain cashiering and customer service experience, along with retail and warehouse experience, to help prepare them for their first job or take with them to their next.

All proceeds stay in our local community! Our store is managed and staffed by volunteers.
